Who Qualifies for Residency at Brightway Living Homes?
At Brightway Living Homes, we strive to offer safe, stable, and supportive housing to individuals who are ready to live independently in a shared home environment. While we are not a medical facility or long-term care center, we welcome residents who meet basic criteria and are seeking an affordable, community-based living option in Metro Atlanta.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for housing at Brightway Living Homes, applicants must:
Be 30 years of age or older
Be able to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) independently
Have a stable monthly income (employment, Social Security, veterans’ benefits, etc.)
Be willing to live in a shared, community environment
Be drug- and alcohol-free (mandatory drug-free environment)
Be free of behaviors that pose a threat to themselves or others
Be able to manage their own medications and personal hygiene
Be willing to comply with house rules, curfews, and shared space guidelines
Complete an intake assessment and agree to other verification screenings
Be medically stable and oriented to person, place, and time
Be capable of independent living and not need 24-hour care to carry out activities of daily living
Required Documents for Intake:
Government-issued ID or proof of identity
Proof of income (pay stub, award letter, benefits documentation, etc.)
Any applicable medical or case management documentation
Completed application and intake interview
